P.O.E, “Pursuit of Excellence Awards” is a program which awards Scholarships based on Academic Excellence, Outstanding Citizenship and Athletic Achievement. This program is open to any Youth who participates in a SYO Service or Program and meets the Qualifications of the Individual Award. A completed Application is required for consideration by the P.O.E Awards Review Committee. The Committee determines the dollar amount and number of Scholarships awarded, based on available funds. The program is supported by Fundraising and Fees generated from SYO Services. Sponsors can create additional Scholarships with their own Guidelines and Criteria. Eligibility for Sponsored Scholarships is the same as the non-sponsored ones. The Committee reviews and awards the Sponsored Scholarships based on the Sponsors Guidelines and Criteria. Decisions by the P.O.E Awards Committee are Final. “Pursuit of Excellence Awards” supports the Awarding of Scholarships, it Encourages and Rewards Excellence & the Pursuit of Excellence, as well as, showcases the Passion of Successful People.
