“Army of One” is a Mentors program which offers Individual and Group Mentors for children of all ages. The Mentors are comprised of Respectable, Community Citizens, qualifications based on Education, Experience, Referrals, Background Checks and Passion for Service. Individual Mentors are assigned by recommendations or requests from either the Youth or Parent/Guardian. Mentors will be of the same gender as the Youth they are mentoring. The benefit of an Individual Mentor is the Personal Attention and Guidance given to the Young person in need. Group Mentors, also provide Attention and Guidance, but not on an Individual basis. In Group Mentors, the groups are age and gender specific, Male, Female and Co-Ed. The Mentors of Co-Ed Groups can be a Male or Female. Group Topics include Life Skills, Setting Goals, Citizenship, Importance of Education, Friendship, Ethics Honor, Responsibility to Self, Money Management, Family Community, Male/Female Relationships, Dealing with Family Issues, Peer Pressure, Discovering Your Passion and other constructive Topics. “Army Of One” gives Encouragement, Motivation, Inspiration, Guidance and Builds Self Esteem Confidence.
